Do you know you can take dual enrollment courses in both academic and career technical education? I've explained the two divisions below.
Which area interest you? Why?
Career and Technical Education (CTE)
Career and technical education is a term applied to programs that specialize in skilled trades, applied sciences, modern technologies, and career preparation. There are a variety of certificate programs that prepare students for a wide range of high-wage, high-skill, high-demand careers. Scholarship opportunities may be available to students that meet the eligibility requirements to participate in the dual enrollment program. Popular programs include Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Automated Manufacturing Technology, Welding Technology, and Drafting Design Engineering.
Academic courses taken for dual enrollment assist students in achievement of their educational goals. Credits earned can be applied toward an associates degree or transferred to a 4-year institution.
