One common question in dual enrollment is about how to register. Registration does require several forms to be completed. To assist with the process I have created a Voicethread that will assist students, counselors, and parents as they go through the registration process.
With the increased participation in dual enrollment, rules and regulations seem to change daily. Below you will find a link to the monthly newsletter I created to provide BSCC partners with the latest updates.

A rubric is a guide provided by an instructor which list the criteria for the grading or scoring of a paper, project, or test. Dual enrollment students should always follow the rubric closely for assignments in their college courses. Click on the link below to review a sample.

When high school students register for dual enrollment, they are considered a college student. Secondary (K-12) and post-secondary (college) have very different rules and regulations. Participation in dual enrollment is considered to be a choice on the part of the student and therefore the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) requirements concerning a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) do not apply. I created a video to share with our faculty regarding ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY so that they might be aware of popular technology that could be used to provide assistance with students who have disabilities. Watch the digital presentation below to see if you learn something new about products you use every day!
